Ask Shab Answered (Finally)

Apparently I forgot to post this when I finally answer these in 2014…..this has been a long time coming.

So apparently back in 2011 I did an “Ask Shab” post and never got around to actually answering the questions so I decided there’s no time like the present, why not answer them now! (so many memories) Disclaimer: I didn’t answer them all because there were way too many so I tried answering at least from everybody! Continue reading

Taking a Look at Club Penguin Private Servers

It is well known the resentment CPPS communities hold towards Club Penguin Armies. They view us simply as spammers. On the other hand, the Club Penguin Rewritten community, including both staff and members, are not this way, especially considering they have some of their own Armies. What may come as a surprise to us all however, is that there are exceptions even on mainstream CPPSes.

Where Can We Go Now?

With the end of Club Penguin only three days away, where can we go now? You guys already know my stance on this, that we should move to NationStates unless Club Penguin Rewritten listens to my suggestions. I do think, however, CPPSes should be used as a temporary refuge. Why can’t they be permanent? That’s what I’ll be investigating in this post.

The Future of Armies Lies in the Four Fates

With the end of Club Penguin only a few weeks away, we need to look at all the options we have and think carefully about which one we want. In this post, that’s what I’ll be doing when I explore the Four Fates.

Is NationStates the Next Horizon?

Club Penguin is closing in a few weeks. It is a sad, sad day for Armies. Not only have we lost our platform, but we have lost our childhood game. Nostalgia is said to be the greatest sadness, because it cannot be appeased. Look at the bright side, though. Think of it as a sort of omen that Club Penguin shut down so recently after I wrote my article trying to convince the Army Community to move to NationStates. In some ways, the shutdown is a good thing, because now everyone, including the people with conservative attitudes, are facing a life or death situation. We have to move, or we have to die. What will it be?

Does Leaving the Club Penguin Sphere Ruin Armies?

KLONDIKE, CPA Central Headquarters – This is a follow-up to my article detailing why we, the Army Community, should move to NationStates in the following philosophy article, The Ragnarok of Armies. The article got two pieces of feedback, which I will center my attention around in the present time.

The Ragnarok of Armies

KLONDIKE, CPA Central Headquarters – Club Penguin Armies have been the victim of many unsolvable problems. Today, many wonder and predict when their death will come, especially considering that most agree Armies are not as fun as they used to be. The community is getting more unfriendly and older, all the while Club Penguin is growing smaller, less popular, and more restrictive, among problems like multilogging that have not been solved to this day, is the reason Armies are dying. I do not think this is up for debate here.

Armies Then and Now

KLONDIKE, CPA Central Headquarters – Have you ever thought about what could have happened if multilogging, bot raiding, or any other sorts of cheating in armies didn’t exist and that we stuck to the old ways? A comparison between today’s Club Penguin armies and the older ages in armies is an important event like the color wars.

The Political Becomings of an Older Generation

KLONDIKE, CP Army Central Philosophy Desk – This community mimics the real world to an extent, with multiple governments, a form of media, and even politics. One wouldn’t think that politics exist within an internet based community, but if one was to dig deep into the research, he or she would find more than they expect.

A Second Generation of Club Penguin Armies

KLONDIKE, Tax’s Office – For many years, we have joked about the idea of a second generation of CP Armies, where the current veterans of Club Penguin armies become adults and their children start participating in the community. Now, as the way this community works changes day by day, I have decided to take a look into the possibility of the second generation of armies, and how it may already be here.

YouWrite: Does Leaving Club Penguin Ruin Armies?

Disclaimer: This post was sent to us through the use of our ‘YouWrite’ feature. It is a Philosophy Post that features the ideas of the author alone.

KLONDIKE, CPA Central Headquarters – Not long ago, I posted an article on this news site detailing why we, the Army community, should move to NationStates in the following philosophical editorial article, The Ragnarok of Club Penguin Armies. This post is a follow on from that.

Should We Have Armies of Foreign Languages?

KLONDIKE, CP Army Central Philosophy Desk – Throughout the history of the Club Penguin army community, there have been different armies. Many armies of different color, leaders, names, individuals, their own histories, ages, and.. different languages?

Analysis of the SM Army Legend Status

KLONDIKE, CPA Central Headquarters – Earlier today I happened to be on the Army of Club Penguin’s chat in which I saw a rather interesting debate taking place in regards to the SM Army Legend status that is awarded to some by the Legends Committee around the same time that the Major Legends are inducted.

2017: Club Penguin’s Death Sentence or Second Chance?

KLONDIKE – CP Army Central philosophy desk – Almost every post this year has been about Club Penguin Island, the status of the community, and other topics pertaining to this community. Let’s talk about Club Penguin’s future.

The Death of Armies: 2016, 2017, When?

KLONDIKE, CPA Central Headquarters – The community has been at a tight position for quite some time now, and people kept stating years when armies would cease to exist, but when will armies actually end? Read more to embark on a journey with I, Emperor Flor, throughout the history of armies, and into my theories of why armies have yet to die, when they might die, and how they might die!
