Does Leaving the Club Penguin Sphere Ruin Armies?

KLONDIKE, CPA Central Headquarters – This is a follow-up to my article detailing why we, the Army Community, should move to NationStates in the following philosophy article, The Ragnarok of Armies. The article got two pieces of feedback, which I will center my attention around in the present time.

Lmao, but how about no? I do not quite understand what the deal is with people trying to take a Club Penguin community and transform it into something it is so clearly not. When it dies, it dies; enjoy this place while it is still around definitely – this game has brought a lot of good times to most who have experienced it. But you are going to have to move on someday, and I do not see any any real benefit of extending this community’s life beyond Club Penguin’s.

I agree with Beeky, it is my opinion that the second we move away from Club Penguin, this is not the Club Penguin Army community. It is the Minecraft Army Community. The Club Penguin Army Community dies when it dies – it physically cannot continue elsewhere otherwise it is not a Club Penguin Army Community.

-Zing King To, The Guy Who’s Making Me Repost This

The deal is here that the people of Armies take pleasure in this Army Community and do not want it to wither away into the dust as it is doing right now. That is why there are so many articles about the death of the Club Penguin Army Community, the predicted doomsday of the Club Penguin Army Community, philosophy articles about if we could do Armies on other platforms (my article is not the first), so on, so on, and so forth. Switching to NationStates would preserve many of the Army activities, pursuits, and goals simply because it has the great potential for being similar to our current Army Community. It simply does not matter if we are no longer the Club Penguin Army Community – that’s a silly semantics argument – all that matters here is that it is the same community in every other aspect of the switch to NationStates.

Saying that we will no longer be the Club Penguin Army Community of the present time is, in the most essential respects, a cop out and an excuse, you see. If you retain that conservative attitude of yours, why should any progression, change, or advancement happen at all? Change is but a fact of life, and you need to accept it or you will not be able to survive in the world. It may certainly be hard and difficult in the beginning, but it will definitely not stay that way my friends. The simple secret of change is not to fight and battle it off, it is to direct and focus all your energy on building and building the new. Do not focus on what you have to give up, but rather focus on what you have to gain. Then you can see the true beauty in change.

So, what do YOU think? Should Armies even consider a change of platform, or does that simply defeat our purpose?

  1. “heres my neutral article on a neutral site which suggests we can prolong the community by moving to another game! so what do YOU think?”

“but its club penguin armies, not nationstates armies”

“……… as you see here these people are clearly wrong and uneducated, as my point of view on what we should do is the best possible option”

somebody get this joker out of here

    • Read the whole post. I went on to clarify and say that the argument “but its club penguin armies, not nationstates armies” is a semantics argument.

  2. Ofc it does just shut the fuck up already with your pointless posts.

    • Ad hominem.

  3. It’s Club Penguin Armies. Keyword: Club Penguin.

Yes, this community could definitely “immigrate” to a new platform/game but would it actually be the same? I highly doubt it honestly.

The spirit, ideology, and structure of this community was based on things that occurred within the game and a new game wouldn’t really suffice so I say we drop it. Let this community die, gracefully and with honor. Let us just celebrate all the great milestones and memories this community and we as members of it made.

    • “It’s Club Penguin Armies. Keyword: Club Penguin.”

      Semantics.

“Yes, this community could definitely “immigrate” to a new platform/game but would it actually be the same? I highly doubt it honestly.”

In many ways, yes. Regardless, change is always bound to happen, and it is better then dying out.

      • It’s more than semantics. It’s the sole fact that this community was and has always been built around Club Penguin, the gameplay style, and recruited off of Club Penguin. In no shape or form would this community be able to 100% reform and revamp itself to adapt to a new game and still have that same love or feeling to it.

Change is bound to happen but sometimes it is unnecessary and does not work in some cases. This is one of those cases. This community is a great one and should end with dignity instead of people beating a dead horse and trying to keep it alive. That’s like putting someone who has been in a bad accident and is in pain on life support because you think they should live when maybe it’s better for them to die because they don’t deserve that kind of pain.

If we move and you don’t like it, you can just leave.

You don’t know that. NationStates would get rid of the problems Armies have. If CP Rewritten listens to my suggestions, so would their game.

It’s more like curing your friend.

          • I think most people just think it’s stupid you’re trying to continue this community when it needs to not be. Hardly anyone would follow your idea and I can promise you that. Most people have already sat down to accept the end. They’re just enjoying the last few days before it ends.

I do know that because half of this community as I have said before is more than happy with letting this community die and be the unchanged joy that it was.

Not all injuries and diseases can be cured. Particularly those that have someone on life support. Again, just quit shilling and let it die.

It doesn’t need to die. It doesn’t need to continue, either. It’s just a matter of what the best choice is, and that would be not dying. The idea of moving to a CPPS is more popular than leaving the Club Penguin sphere. If CP Rewritten accepts my suggestions, it would be perfect.

Besides, why should we accept the end of something that has been a source of fun and great memories? Especially considering we could get rid of the problems associated with it.

“Not all injuries and diseases can be cured. Particularly those that have someone on life support. Again, just quit shilling and let it die.”

So tell me then, why wouldn’t NationStates work? Why wouldn’t CP Rewritten work, assuming they listen to my suggestions?

              • And the best choice is let it die as that is what most of this community is clear about. You don’t see any of them really making plans to save their army or the community. They’re just having battles and tourneys until CP shuts down. They want to be happy and let things run their course. BAU (Business As Usual) for most people. A CPPS would work possibly but how can you consistently recruit new troops and things like that. It’s not a sustainable thing like you presume it is.

Because a natural human being sees that all good things must come to an end at some point. Nothing runs on and on forever. Not even the average human life does.

I explained earlier why. This community was based around children, the structure of CP’s gameplay, and with that there’d be no real effective way to completely sustain troop sizes if we want to play the same way.

Well, there is RPF and the Kings’ Republic.

“A CPPS would work possibly but how can you consistently recruit new troops and things like that. It’s not a sustainable thing like you presume it is.”

That’s true…for now. As I said, “The idea of moving to a CPPS is more popular than leaving the Club Penguin sphere. If CP Rewritten accepts my suggestions, it would be perfect.”

I posted an article recently titled “To Club Penguin Rewritten Staff”.

“Because a natural human being sees that all good things must come to an end at some point. Nothing runs on and on forever. Not even the average human life does.”

It doesn’t have to be now.

“I explained earlier why. This community was based around children, the structure of CP’s gameplay, and with that there’d be no real effective way to completely sustain troop sizes if we want to play the same way.”

If CP Rewritten uses my suggestions, this wouldn’t be a problem. As for NationStates, changing our way of battle isn’t an issue.
