Statement Regarding Comment Editing on CPAC

For the last seven years, CPA Central has been committed to providing you all with the best quality news and army activities in a professional but fun manner.

In doing this, CP Army Central hosts several public voting opportunities throughout the year making sure that the communities views and feedback are taken into account. Common occurrences of this include the End of Year and Summer Awards or the public vote on the Legends Inductions.

We take a great deal of pride in allowing you all a forum to voice your opinions which is why we always leave our comment sections open for you to use. We are strongly against any form of comment editing on our site, as we strive to provide an open forum for debate. As long as comments do not break the law or put anyone at risk of harm, we try to allow them, no matter how vulgar or incorrect.

It was recently brought to our attention that several of the public votes on our Legend Nomination post had been changed. CPA Central takes every allegation of comment editing seriously and investigate it to the fullest extent. As a result of this, these allegations were investigated by several key members of CPA Central staff.

Unfortunately, we discovered that a, CPA Central Vice President, Ben/ThatWaryGuy, was responsible for editing several comments in an attempt to push himself to victory in the S/M Legends Inductions. This is absolutely not acceptable.

CPA Central can only apologize at this time for the changing of votes and say that it should not have happened, and that in all cases where it has been observed, votes have been or are being returned to their original state. Ben has been demoted to the position of Reporter, and will be kept under supervision as a contributor, not an author on the site. He has also been disqualified from this round of Legends voting.

We remain committed to doing all we can to ensure the Legends voting process is fair and equitable, but unfortunately sometimes members of our staff do not share that commitment. We have taken all the necessary steps to ensure that the damage done to the integrity of the voting process has been undone, and encourage anyone who feels their vote may have been compromised to contact a member of the administration on chat.

Thank you for your continued trust and viewership of CPA Central.

Don’t mind the haters, cheaters and other things that happens to CPAC post and comments after you left before. But now its working again and you are the only one after b1 and b2 that are doing this! I hope you will have a wonderful Christmas! 🙂
