Top Ten Armies of July 2016

KLONDIKE, CPA Central Headquarters – The monthly Top Ten is back. July marks the middle of summer for most of the army community, and the launch of the CPA server map boosted activity across the board.

Top Ten

1. Water Vikings 80.55 [90]

2. Rebel Penguin Federation 69.60 [84]

3. Army Republic 60.4 [81]

4. Nachos 55.9 [80]

5. Night Rebels 53.25 [74]

6. Wild Ninjas 52.04 [72]

7. Army of CP  52.01 [69]

8. Smart Penguins 44.24 [59]

9. Golds 49.73 [58]

10. Pretzels 14.36 [18]

~~~~~
The formula used to calculate this is slightly different than the one used by Bam in previous months, but it is still very straightforward. The first number besides the army name (without brackets) reflects the army’s average Top Ten score throughout the month. It is calculated by adding up all of the army’s Top Ten scores in July, then dividing it by the number of Top Tens in July, which was 5. If an army dropped to SMAC, their score in that Top Ten is accounted for as well.
The second number, in brackets, is based on the sum of points based on the army’s Top Ten positions in the month of July. 1st place = 20 points, 2nd place = 19 points, and so on. This continues down into SMAC’s Top Tens all the way to their 10th spot, which earns an army 1 point.
What do you think of this month’s Top Ten? Surprised by any placements? Discuss in the comments below!
