March Madness IV: Elite Eight Recap

march-madness-4

Klondike, CP Army Central Headquarters- Following another weekend of battling it out, four armies have earned their spot in the upcoming Final Four. As the field of armies narrows down, will your army win?

Battle One- Underground Mafias Army vs. Army of Club Penguin

PA3RQnZ

One of the most highly anticipated battles of the Elite Eight weekend turned out to be not as exciting as it was planned to be. Due to the recent retirement of Underground Mafias Army leader, Joseph, UMA was unable to show up to the battle and was therefore disqualified from further participating in the tournament.

However, Army of Club Penguin showed a strong performance of around 35 people online. With that said, ACP is hoping to carry their strong performance into the Final Four.

Winner: Army of Club Penguin

Battle Two- Ice Hounds vs. Army Republic

With the recent surge of success for the Ice Hounds, multiple people expected this battle to come down to the wire with a close fight between the surging Ice Hounds and the highly regarded Army Republic. Starting off at the Iceberg, the Army Republic emerged with sizes between 18-20 and the Ice Hounds hitting sizes up to 12-14. With far superior tactics from AR, the battle moved over to the Snow Forts with AR maxing 18; however, the Ice Hounds once again were outsized.

Following the conclusion of the battles, CP Army Central judges met to discuss the battle in which they decided in a 3-0 vote that the Army Republic would be declared victors of the battle. Army Republic will be hoping for a better showing next week to compete with the ever growing competition.

Winner: Army Republic

Battle Three- Night Warriors vs. Nachos

As the Night Warriors have lately been dominating the community, this battle pitted the pre tournament favorite against the usual tournament cinderella story, Nachos. With the battle beginning at the Iceberg, Nachos and Night Warriors featured sizes up to 25-30 on Club Penguin. Later moving into the Ski Village, NW quickly grouped into a circle formation while the Nachos were having a tougher time getting into formation.

After much deliberation, the judges decided in a 2-1 vote that the Night Warriors had proven to be the winners in this battle.

Winner: Night Warriors

Battle Four- Night Rebels vs. Rebel Penguin Federation

Being the final battle of the day, the fourth battle of the weekend featured closely matched Night Rebels vs the Rebel Penguin Federation. Both armies commenced on the beach of Klondike in which each side mustered a forced together of around 18-20 penguins. With slightly disorganized tactics and formations from each army, the battle continued to the Iceberg at the half way mark. Maxing around the same sizes as before, the battle came down to who could perform better at tactics.

In a 3-0 decision, the judges of the battle came to the verdict that due to the Rebel Penguin Federation performing higher quality tactics and formations, RPF would be ruled the victors of the battle.

Winner: Rebel Penguin Federation

  1. bs

    • get lost.

  2. ‘winner: underground mafias army’

you guys should stop pre-determining results

  3. How can UMA win when they didn’t show?

  4. I thought Nachos won. This afternoon someone said just pranking. Nachos won.

    • That was a prank too. For revealing his vote, it should be a 3-0 NW victory. GG NO RE

      • Why does NW keep saying that a judge can’t reveal his vote or it gets taken away? That makes literally no sense, has never been a policy, and completely negates the purpose of having an odd number of judges.

If a judge wants to tell people who they voted for, go for it, but hes they’re under no obligation to.

    • no dumbass.

  5. gobby, can you pls stop removing my comments? Its really annoying. Kthx 🙂

    • It isn’t me. I haven’t touched your comments.

      • Then who the hell keeps removing my comments about UMA?? :S

  6. Atticus, that description of Nachos and NW is COMPLETELY wrong. The second room was Aboveground Mine, but because those stupid NW troops went to the underground, they complained and the judges (biasly) made a room change to ski village. The NW at the ski village stayed in a circle from start to end, not moving once. We made many bombs, as well as many formations such as X, N and +, but because NW didn’t move their butts, we didn’t have the opportunity to make many different formations. Read Kevin’s post.

    • Also, 2/3 of the judges were ACP. The fvck is wrong with you. Nachos are at fvcking war with ACP. How bias CPAC has become lately…

    • wrong again.

    • Gee no wonder nachos were showing up suspiciously early and even managed to get 4 penguins in the berg before it was announced. The outside of the mines is refered to as the schoolyard. All the judges said on chat were the mines and did not specify underground/aboveground. And the one vote you got was from an acp leader who would benefit off nachos winning the round. There’s something called adapting to the situation. There’s a small room, why the hell would you bomb? Staying in a circle and destroying you in tactics as nachos accidentally leave the room (lol dan) was a good call. I certainly did not see those formations you mentioned in the ski village. It turned out to be more of a clump of nachos surrounded by nw. How could you say a room change was biased when it was clear both sides misunderstood from poor communication? We had a half circle of nw locked out just waiting to jump in the next battle room. Irl if theres an army of 1000 outside of a room that could only fit 100 and theres 50 nachos and 50 nw in that room and a nacho opens the door and says lol rooms full we win, that nacho would see thousands of rounds coming towards his retard face. So what happens if nachos won? nw would make points about u entering rooms early and effectively countering and canceling out all ur tactics while u can only complain about bias

It turned out to be more of a clump of nachos surrounded by nw. How could you say a room change was biased when it was clear both sides misunderstood from poor communication? You obviously didnt know that almost every cpac tournament where there has been a room switch to the mines has been inside. We had a half circle of nw locked out just waiting to jump in the next battle room anyways. Irl if theres an army of 1000 outside of a room that could only fit 100 and theres 50 nachos and 50 nw in that room and a nacho opens the door and says lol rooms full we win, that nacho would see thousands of rounds coming towards his —— face. • ARE YOU A FVCKING RETARD? Ok firstly, the 4 penguins going to berg quicker was my fault, I knew the room and told them ro go accidentally, and I take full responsibility for that. Though our deduction of 4 penguins was too small to make us smaller than the nw. So we won berg. The judges then announced that the next room was ABOVEground mine. Exactly like that. Our highly intelligent and trained Nachos were taught not to rush, so we ALL stayed there. No nacho misunderstood that. I surely attended more battles than you .”There’s a small room, why the —- would you bomb? Staying in a circle and destroying you in tactics as nachos accidentally leave the room (lol dan) was a good call. stayed in the aboveground. If thwy said underground, I’d go there. I attended more tournament battles than you. ” are you dumb? The point is to be hard. That was a hard room, but the obvious winner had to pull the tactics through and fight for the victory. Not just admit that the room was hard and stqy in a circle. Learn to be part of the cpa, kid.
Note: made a big reply? You will have one too!

  7. WV beat RPF. WV would have beat NR.

The final two of this tournament, in reality should be WV v.s NW.

    • Cry about it, you guys ended up not raiding lol
