Joseph Resigns From UMA

MAMMOTH, UMA Empire – One of the most influential figures within the Underground Mafias Army current generation, Joseph, has retired from the army after many years of active service. Some believe that this is the first time that the UMA has emerged out of the slump they hit in 2014 soon after the long-time duo of Wgfv and Daniel departed from the army.

Joseph, with two other leaders, has for the past 9 weeks taken UMA out of their slump and in the most recent top ten got them to 1st spot, something that has never been achieved in UMA history. Regarding how the UMA has been rejuvenated in the past months, Joseph had this to say in his resignation post:

As I look back I am very proud of the work we have done. We have had many retired leaders over the past few years endeavor to keep the flame peregrinated. I have always tried to maintain a sense of optimism. I am addressing this now and I have much more optimism than when I commenced. I have optically discerned day after day the many contributions that our soldiers have brought. We can be certain that this next generation can bring even more progress, prosperity, and tranquility.

To follow on from this, Joseph feels that the future will be as good as the past, with the army continuing to sustain or even bolster the sizes that have been achieved, as spoken by Joseph in the rest of his retirement post:

I leave this army confident. Confident in the progress that is in motion. I will always be an advocate even after this resignation. It has been a challenging week saying goodbye to everyone. I am so grateful that I have had a chance to contribute to making this army more vigorous, safer, fairer, and preponderant. I hope that that you will redouble your efforts to demonstrate unequivocally that we are the greatest army ever.

You call me a legend. I am not a legend. I’m not a good leader, what you verbally express as a revolution I visually perceive as a rediscovery as UMA’s inner spirit. I am a dealer in hope, not a leader in battle. You made UMA elevate. As we have learned, we are a great nation and we have involute quandaries, but if we always stick to our first principle that the people are right. The future will always be ours.

I managed to grab a quick interview with the UMA Dictator, Joseph, and exchange a few words with him on his recent retirement and how he think that UMA will cope without him.

Do you think UMA will be able to cope without you?

Of course I do. Some people believe that UMA’s prosperity was solely caused by the sponsorship we have with CPPS.me, but if you spent time on our chat then you would know that wasn’t the case. Sure, it managed to boost our sizes by a few troops and infrequently brought in a few recruits, but aside from that we mostly recruited on Club Penguin to maintain the fact we could keep those sizes if, say, the sponsorship was abrogated because of some of the CPPS mods who we ran into trouble with in the past.

What do you think of the rules that they are going to set in place once you leave?

On a personal level I believe they shouldn’t abstract dictatorship. It’s what UMA has been under for many years. It’s kind of like a little family tradition that’s passed down to the leaders. I have been in UMA since 2011 and I can honestly say that this is my first time leading any army. I was just mandated to sit on the side line and observe the leadership around me. I did just that. Well, look at UMA now.

What are your final words to the person or people that do take on the role of the UMA leadership?

Fight the Bad.

UMA under Joseph’s leadership.

Joseph was essentially the sole “Dictator” of the UMA, which is not a component of the military ranks and is, in effect, above the leader ranks. Currently, Wurburt, Niceguy, Step and Mach are the leaders of the army. However, someone else could come in and take the spot that Joseph held for those 9 weeks of his leadership, including current people within the military ranks such as the Chief Of Staff.

What do YOU think of Joseph’s resignation? Will the army be able to keep going, or will they fall without the influence of one of the greatest UMA leaders? Comment YOUR opinion on this announcement.

    • What? No. He was a recruit that ranked up from the bottom in 2012. He’s one of the only people in UMA who’ve managed to rank up from private to lead the army.

      • Okay this is Rocky and I asked because he started calling me a homo like he did at first

        • We know you’re Rocky.

          Believe me, we know.

          • Rocky is a fucking homosexual.

          • Lmao

          • What makes it so obvious? The 10,000,000,000 comments he makes in a day, or the fact that he stated he was Rocky.

  14. This is a very sad moment. I can’t believe you’re gone. One of the best things I ever did in UMA was to make you 2ic in 2013. Like the others, you’ve been through thick and thin with me. The good times and the bad. You’ve got something. Something I saw in you a very long time ago. Don’t ever let them tell you otherwise.

  15. As a retired Uma leader to another, you have carried this army through thick and thin and have done what no other Uma leader could go.. Get them to 1st.. Your words are inspiring and I hope that the next generation of Uma heade your words. Keep in touch with me via Steam
