Who Should Recruit In Armies?

KLONDIKE, CP Army Central Headquarters, Zing’s Office – Club Penguin Armies often see a basic standard of who should recruit. In majority of armies, it is the belief that all personal in the Ownership and Leadership’s should recruit for sure – but should anyone else recruit in the army?

Note: The following post is an editorial and contains the writer’s personal opinion. It does not represent the views of CPAC as a whole.

Majority of armies work with a basic hierarchy on their ranks. This hierarchy sees a basic leadership, then an ownership, then moderators, then members. In majority of armies, the leaders and owners are expected to recruit for the army whether it be autotyping, chat recruiting or manual CP Recruiting – but whose responsibility is it?

Recruiting is the task in which you get people into your army. Recruiting can be done through many different ways which include Autotypers, Chat Recruiting and other things. The main way of recruiting in today’s day and age, is that of autotyping. The question of who should be recruiting for the army is however often debated.

Some armies believe that anyone with an orange pawn on XAT should be recruiting daily. An orange pawn on XAT signifies ownership in an army and is most usually reserved for Third In Command, Second In Command and Leadership roles. The owners are responsible for doing things such as scheduling events, logging troops on but some people believe they are solely responsible for recruiting.

Other armies believe that while those with ownership authority should be recruiting, they believe that moderators should also recruit. Moderator’s are people with a white pawn and they help with the welcoming of users to the army and also enforcing rules on the chat in order to protect the army and make sure it stays safe and fun for all users. Some armies however believe that they are responsible for recruiting.

Club Penguin email about recruiting

In order to really see who should be recruiting, it first needs to be established why we recruit and what recruiting actually accomplishes. We recruit in order to develop our armies in terms of size and make our armies stronger and bigger. Recruiting is the way in which we get more members for not only our individual armies, but for the Club Penguin community as a whole.

Surely, this means that anyone in the army – regardless of rank – should recruit if they have the goal of making the army they are part of the biggest, the best and the strongest. Anyone who wants for their army to meet these goals should therefore recruit in the army.

No matter what rank you are, if you were to spend just an hour of your day recruiting for your army in some way, you would be helping your army to grow – so why doesn’t this happen? This community could be much bigger if everyone just recruited, and then we’d be able to bring in some more recruits for the army community and make the community great once again.

What do YOU think? What is the appropriate rank for someone to recruit at? Should everyone in armies recruit?

  1. I always love your editorials , Zing. I do agree that if someone wants their army to rise they should take it upon themselves to recruit for their army and not assume that someone else will do it for you. But with club penguin cracking down on autotyping and bottling recruiters it could mean the end of us. To be honest I believe auto typing should still be in use today but not abused to hell i.e. Botting ten penguins on every five bar. That’s all I have to say lol
Keep up the good work, Zing.

  2. Everyone except for the retirees unless they feel like it themselves should recruit Lol

  3. Everyone should recruit. You join that army, you help that army
