Army of Club Penguin

About: The ACP was formed September 29, 2006, on the Miniclip Forums, by retired Head General Oagalthorp. They were the biggest army there, and then moved to WordPress. Now they are continually one of the strongest armies in Club Penguin. A few of their major accomplishments were winning Club Penguin WWII and WWIII, allying many of the strongest armies, and becoming a very strong army, one of few superpowers ever to enter Club Penguin. They have also won multiple CPAC Tornaments. They believe it to be their duty to protect Club Penguin from those who wish to harm it. Many other armies in Club Penguin hate the ACP for sometimes being unreasonable in their eyes, however they continue to maintain their World Power rank because of their Google page-rank, massive numbers, and strong leadership.

Ice Warriors

About: The Ice Warriors have been around since June of 2007. They were created by Iceyfeet1234, who surprisingly is still leader today. He is the only major army leader to run an army throughout its entire history. The only time Icey nearly lost his leadership was in January 2010 from a rebellion against other owner ranks. Icey re-made IW on a new site, and eventually the rebellion fell apart. Even through the rebellion, they were steadily a number 3 army, but experienced some size difficulties throughout the Fall and Winter of 2010. Since then, they have been falling in the Top Ten, in spots like 6th and 7th, unable to jump back into the number 3 spot they occupied for so long. The IW are known for their experience and multiple alliances.

Nachos

About: The Nachos were originally created by Jamesbond1 in the Summer of 2006. After he quit, Vital Viper led for a single day, before he was overthrown by Tom Wolf, who created the first Nacho Website, which still stands today (although inactive). Tom Wolf lead for a year, after which Zippy500 took control. Zippy is one of the most well-known Nacho Leaders, and is considered one of warfare’s true legends. One of the biggest events of Nacho history was the overthrowing of Aka and Jayson by a group called the “Patriots”. The Nachos also saw a prosperous period under the reign of Person1233, considered one of the best and funniest leaders. Since then, their leadership had changed many times. Recently the Nachos have been falling in sizes, getting numbers like 5th and 6th in the Top Ten, compared to be when the Nachos held steady at 2nd and 3rd. The Nachos are known for their open opinions and, if not slightly crude, humor.

Ninjas

About: The RFW was formed by a consecutive string of merges. Originally it was 7 small armies; the 1st Tacos, CPIB, RW, WCP, MCP, GPR, BW. Those armies later formed to make the 1st generation of FW, and MRW. MRW and FW merged to make a mega-army called RFW (Roman Fire Warriors). The RFW went up and down as a temporary world power and down to lower ranks. Eventually, Woton, Trickster, and Pringle agreed to merge in the Nachos. A month later, Pringle rebuilt the FW, and then the Blaze Warriors merged in. Eventually, he changed the name back to RFW and the League of Lightning army merged in, making it a massive force once again. Their owner Coolkid deleted all their pages and posts, but after some recruiting, the RFW climbed back up again. Eventually, the RFW changed back to their original name of just the Fire Warriors, removing the Roman completely. In mid-March 2011, DCP merged into them, thus bringing an end to DCP.  Soon, when the FW fell to the very bottom Pochoma and Pringle decided the name “Fire Warriors” didn’t work at all. So, they decided to make the Ninjas. They got to the top 5 after one event and then maxed 35 in the Legends Cup 2 the next week. Now, the Ninjas are holding steady as a World Power/Major Army, getting spots like 2nd and 3rd in the Top Ten. The Ninjas are known for their many merges, kindness, and everlasting will to fight.

Watex Warriors

Abbreviation: WW

Status: Medium Army

About: The Watex Warriors are one of the oldest armies in CP Warfare. They used to be a Major Army, reigning the land back in the day, along with UMA and the Nachos. More recently, they had were having a large surge of power, and it appeared they were going to creep their way back to the top, but then their leader, Lucario, left them without a warning when he was offered a spot as ACP 2ic. Then, they fell rapidly, and were clinging for their lives on to their Top 10 spot, sometimes falling out of it completely. Then, Lucario came back, and they started rising again. Now, even though Lucario left again, they are keeping steady sizes, however have not appeared in the Top Ten for some time. They have been around for a while, and are always a very well-respected army. The WW are known for their strong friendships and for inviting in new people with open arms.

Sun Troops

About: The first CPST were originally created by Hampton4Life and Sklooperis. They didn’t reach the same extreme size this generation has reached, but they did see some time in the Top 10. Eventually, they merged with GW to form GT, which became a World Power. Eventually, an old leader of CPST, Wenny, teamed back up with Skloop and Wwebestfan to recreate the CPST. This generation has reached sizes in the 40′s at a few events, and at times have almost reached World Power status, making it into the Top 5. They have since fallen out of the Top Ten, but are still very much alive. The Sun Troops are known for the will to fight and drive.

Metal Warriors

Underground Mafias Army

Abbreviation: UMA

Status: Large Army

About: The UMA was created by best friends Pink Mafias and CompWiz5000. Together, they decided to name the army after Pink’s name, unaware that it would be a huge success. Their original site was http://pinkmafias.wordpress.com/, which still holds the record for the most hits of any army site in one month and in one day. The UMA at one point, mainly in the summer of 2007, was the largest army in history, massing literally hundreds of soldiers per battle. They remained large for years, until they fell in size and out to the edge of the Top 10. They have since then had extreme highs, up to major status, to extreme lows, which is where they are now. Recently their leaders, the RPF merged into UMA under orders from Tal, but the merge was very controversial, and his since been undone. After UMA was thrown into turmoil, Lidstrom became the sole leader of UMA, and they are now rebuilding their ranks. The UMA are known for their determination and their crudeness.

Pretzels

About: The Pretzels were created in late 2009, and rose in sizes in 2010, until the death of their first generation. Then, the 2nd generation of Pretzels began, and they reached number 3 in the Club Penguin Medium Army Central Top Ten. Since then, the Pretzels have been rising and rising, and are now steady in the bottom of the CPAC Top Ten, around 9th and 10th. The Pretzels are known for their unique name.

Team Gold

About: Team Gold was created on May 7th of 2009. Their first real battle was a PB against the Nachos, which they obviously lost. For a while after that, they fought smaller, less known armies as they continued to try to grow in size. They were first recognized as a large army during a battle with ACP, where they maxed out at 16. After that, they became a pretty well-known army. A lot of people thought of them for a while as a “noob army”, but more recently they have really shown their true colors when it comes to size, eventually having a final surge and beating the Nachos in a PB, and earning them a high spot in the Top 10, and in the respect of the army community. Now, they have fallen into the lower Top Ten as of late. Team Gold is known for being discriminated by many and for their strong will.

Rebel Penguin Federation

Abbreviation: RPF

Status: Medium Army

About: RPF is an army with an incredible past. They started out as a group of soldiers who, led by Commando717, rebelled from UMA and formed a new army, the RPF. This event was one of the things the weakened UMA’s power and led to their downfall. During WWIII, RPF, along with CPAF,  played a crucial role in helping ACP defeat UMA at the Battle of Breeze. Several reasons are attributed to UMA’s demise. To this day, RPF remains a strong one. After the war, RPF and ACP became close allies, and both armies grew to be World Powers. Commando, the RPF creator, is also credited with the creation of Nations. In early 2008, Commando hatched a secret plan that, if it had succeeded, could have destroyed ACP. However, he was discovered, and a massive World War almost broke out. Before the war even happened, a peace treaty was agreed upon. After this, RPF began to fall, eventually falling out of the Top Ten. Tal recreated RPF, but was removed from the army after a controversial merge with UMA. Cas and Alex N assumed the leadership after Tal. Today, RPF is once again growing, and are on their way to returning to the Top 10. The RPF are known for their crudeness and their unique ranks.

Global Defenders

Abbreviation: GD

About: The Global Defenders were originally called the Penguin Militia Army.  The PMA ended when Pungy and his loyal Second in Command, Redd Kool, realized that the word ‘Militia’ would not show on CP so they were getting no new recruits.  They then changed names to the Global Defenders.  Within a month of the switch, the GD has been getting much bigger sizes ranging from 15-25 at events!  They are one of the few armies left today with a senate, too.  The Global Defenders are known for their massiveley quick rise!

Doritos of Club Penguin

Abbreviation: DCP

Status:  Major Army

Government Type: Democratic Republic

About: DCP was created February 8th, 2010 by Wwebestfan. Within their first few days, they grew to a size of over 40 ranked troops. They had some discrepancies with their name, as there were a few other small armies with the abbreviation DCP, even another army specifically named Doritos, but they beat the other armies for the name. They had problems with GT for a while, but after a few weeks these were settled. For a while, they were unable to climb farther up the Top 10, until they hit a growth during the Summer of 2010, and launched up to 3rd, earning themselves a World Power spot. Soon after, they started to receive waves of hack after hack after hack, weakening them. As they were repairing, they went through wars with the UMA to gain their independence after they had become a colony of the UMA. They are now back up in a strong spot in the Top 10. However, DCP would soon begin to fall, eventually out of the Top Ten. Various hackings had kept them from their full potential, and finally, in mid-March, 2011, after having lost their creator just a few weeks before, the Doritos of Club Penguin merged into the Fire Warriors, bringing a final end to the DCP story. The DCP are now back once again, and have recently reached the number 3 spot in the Top Ten after a lot of hard work and determination. They are known for their troop bribery and their many rivalries.

Elites

Abbreviation: None

About: The Elites were believed to be created by 77ninja77 in late 2007/ early 2008 on Summit. 77ninja77 lead the Elites to great power, rivaling with the strongest armies in his time: ACP, Nachos, RPF and more. Like all great leaders one day, 77ninja77 retired, and left the Elites in the hands of Agent55882, which soon lead to the end of the 1G. Several months later, Lordcody56 created the 2nd Generation. It was not very successful unfortunately. The 3rd Generation was created by Supperz1, and it managed to conquer the bottom half of the top 10 in its time, but as every army experiences this, there was a major fall of the army when summer ended, and the Elites 3G was claimed dead. Since then there have been many unsuccessful attempts to bring the Elites back to what they once were, until the 6G, created by Khimo/Yoshi123241. It switched in and out of the top 10, until they slightly fell, and weren’t in the top 10 in months. Then, after being reconstructed, in a matter of 2 weeks, the Elites hit world power status, achieving(if not surpassing) the Elites 1st Generation. Eventually, as has happened many times before, the Elites died again.  They were recreated by Khimo, Tempahh, and Firemanhq, but that generation died after great success, just as many other generations of Elites before. Recently, Elites have been recreated, and are working their way up to the Top Ten. Elites are known for thier many leaders and their many, many generations.

Golden Troops

Abbreviation: GT

Status: Small

Government: Democratic

About: GT was an army mainly consisted of merges. At first, GW, CPSS and CPF merged to make GW. GW lived on their own, and rocketed into the Top 10 as a large army. They were pretty successful there, and they were always in the Top 5 for every week, consistently. Then, CPST, an army made by Sklooperis and Hampton4Life, was dying, even though they were once in the Top 10. The leaders of both armies had a meeting and decided to have a trial merge. They merged together, and found that they were so successful that there was no point in even considering canceling the mere. The merge was very successful for a while, but eventually the GT fell very low, merging with the TG. Very recently, they have been re-created, and are skyrocketing straight back to the Top. The GT are known for their activeness and their strong pride.

Water Vikings

Abbreviation: WV

Status: DEAD Army

About: The Water Vikings were created from a merge between Water Troopers and Masked Vikings. The merge was an instant success. They were originally noticed when they almost hit 20 troops battling the Platinum Warriors for Oyster. They proceeded to  Top Tens. They were #3 immediately in the Small Top Ten. Later, they had many events that showed their size, an unscheduled recruiting session, and a Triple Invasion. Eventually, they were the #1 Small Army, then on CPAE, the #1 Medium. They were also in the Top Ten for a brief time. After they went to war with the Tacos, they crashed. Jed deleted the site for reasons unknown. The Water Vikings were declared dead.

Ice Vikings

About: The Ice Vikings were created in May 2008 by Bobcatboy10 and Bottlefanta. They worked hard and got many recruits, and did well until Summer 2009. Then IV slowly began to fall. Then, recently, Generation 2 of the IV was started. They quickly regained many of their old soldiers and were competing for a spot in the lower Top Ten when they entered the Winter Smackdown 2010. In a fantastic upset, an army not even in the Top Ten defeated many top armies, making it to the finals against the ACP, earning them a Top 5 spot in the Top 10. In one of the greatest upsets in CP Army history, the IV were a Major Army. Now, they have fallen, and are out of the Top 10. The IV are known for their surprising strength and their nonstop vigilance.  May the IV legacy stay with us forever.

League of Lightning

About: The League of Lightning was an army created by the name change of the Club Penguin Fire Ducks (CPFD).  After Shadowclub6 achieved leader of CPFD, the name change occurred, making him the founder.  Despite a unique name and abbreviation, the LOL grew up to the max of 5th overall out of the top ten. After their leader Shadowclub6′s computer corruption, the League of Lightning fell, eventually being recreated by Kingfunks4, Shaboomboom, Bluesockwa2, and their founder, Shadowclub6.  Due to lack of time and committment, the second generation of LOL ended.

Night Warriors

About: The Night Warriors were originally formed in July 2009 from a merge between the original Night Warriors and the Rogue Rangers, but weren’t heard from a bunch until 2010. In late summer 2010, they got a huge jump in troops, all the way to World Power status. They were constantly the 2nd Place army behind the ACP, and did whatever they needed to get what they want. After falling out of the Top Ten, the NW’s sizes continued to dwindle. They are now dead.

Tacos

About: The Tacos were created by a famous blogger called Riffy. They had a good spell in the Top Ten but eventually died out. Since then, they have been recreated many times by different leaders, usually with little avail. However, almost a year ago, they were re-created for a 5th time by Rainy and Lightonon April 25th 2011 . The latest generation was one of the biggest yet. Recently, they were recreated by Np3000, and were extremely successful.
