CPAC Special Report: Inside CP Armies’ Media Giant- May 2012

Blue2 had previously published one of these, and now I have decided to do my own. I will declassify all documents of May 2012, the CPAC/CPASC negotiations and scandal. This is how I saw everything that happened, from the original plotting to an intervention that no one saw coming.

What has come to be known throughout the upper staff members of CPAC and CPASC as The CPASC/CPAC Crisis occurred between May 16th to the 18th of 2012, although the issue still fizzled up now and then afterwards. During this time, CPASC was thriving despite the occasional arguing of some of its upper staff.

On May 16th, I, Bluesockwa, posted a Staff Evaluation and Executive Order on CPASC, which, in layman’s terms, basically said that I would choose the Heads who follow in succession not only after me, but after every retiring Head until I decide to renounce the position. This was to insure CPASC’s continued quality, and also because I was the only thing holding the upper staff together (an issue that would be discovered later.)

Soon after it was posted, Drust, CPASC’s Head Reporter, came to me with pictures of a conversation she had with Splashy, one of my best friends and Secondary Head of CPAC. Splashy had been speaking with someone he called “well-respected in the army community” who thinks I should be overthrown from CPASC.

I immediately assumed that this person was Cas, as I had been on bad grounds with him recently and he had told me he would get his revenge.

As such, I brought Splashy and Drust to a chat, where Splashy confirmed Cas was the man who he had come to. We argued for a while, the clause was revoked, and Splashy’s future in CPASC was left open-ended. While I continued to ponder what my decision would be, Blue2, CPAC Representative of CPASC, intervened and imposed a bill on a site.

Enough.

This ridiculous power struggle has gone on long enough. As a branch of CPAC, you are subject to the influence of the corporation you are owned by. And thus, I can do this.

As Head of CPAC, it is my responsibility to ensure that all branches are running smoothly and doing their jobs correctly. So I hereby issue CPAC Executive Order #17:

1. The Godfather Clause is immediately rendered null and void.

2. The position of Unimpeachable Dictator is hereby abolished.

3. Splashy is promoted to Co-Head of Site alongside Sir Bluesockwa the 1st.

4. The site is placed on Probationary Observation for 2 weeks, and I will take far more drastic action if this problem continues.

Neither this order nor any of the terms in it can be voided or expulged by the Head of Site.

The terms in this order are to be followed and put into practice effective immediately. Note to the staff: I wish to contain this on a branch level, however, if necessary I will take this to CPAC.

Now I had two things to worry about, with no real idea of what to focus my time on. Nevertheless, I figured it was time I threw myself into this.

The Watergate Scandal

Posted on May 17, 2012 by Sιя_Bℓυєsσ¢кωa_тнє 1sт

It’s time I throw myself into a web of conspiracies, lies, and changes around here.

First off, I’d like to explain what took place. I have made my fair share of enemies in the army world, that, if anything, can be agreed upon. Recently it came to my attention through a source who has asked to remain anonymous that Splashy was plotting to overthrow me along with a “mystery man”. Recalling the events of the past week, I guessed and hit the nail on the head. This man was Casiusbrutus. His motives and reasons will not be disclosed, simply that he wants revenge.

Splashy had previously agreed when first asked about what has been dubbed “The Godfather Clause”, the article which stated I would choose the upcoming Heads of Site of CPASC until I decide to appoint a new Unimpeachable Dictator. Apparently, he was actually against the idea, which, to me, begs to say he wanted to overthrow me in the first place, and this gave him a perfect motive to do it. Cas wants revenge against me, and so the two plotted to overthrow me. As Drust, Head Writer of CPASC, had made a comment as a joke about me becoming more like Cas, Splashy took this as serious, and this is what took place.

*The man whose name has not been disclosed is Cas.

*Splashy admits he wants me overthrown.

*Drust typed that in after the conversation took place, as can be disclosed by Splashy being logged off chat and the bar scrolled up. It has also become apparent to me part of the conversation has been omitted, in which Drust possibly admitted she wanted me out to.

*This one is clear as crystal.

<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>

Before I noticed Drust’s faking of that line, I brought both Splashy and Drust to my own private chat, in which Splashy explained that he wanted The Godfather Clause gone, something I had already planned to do. After this, I revealed to him that I knew of his plan, and he confirmed that Cas was the man he was working with to overthrow me. Blue2 had been siding with Splashy, but now that I removed the clause, became neutral in the argument. I told Splashy his position was threatened, as it still is. As I was still debating what to do about it, Blue2′s post was made.

Now, this brings up a power struggle here in CPASC. According to the original terms agreed upon, the site is mine and mine alone. Blue2 and/or Funks may make suggestions, but not force things to take place. However, CPASC is a branch of CPAC, so kudos there, Blue. I will abide by Order #17, however, since at the end of the day Blue2 and I share the same level of power on this site, I will amalgamate them.

The final part, “Neither this order nor any or the terms in it can be voided or expulged by the Head of Site”, fails to mention whether or not I can add to them. Thus, I am. I will remain the sole Head of Site until stated that Splashy is promoted at the end of this post, as I must change a few things. I am promoting Drust to Secondary Head of Site, with or without the approval of my soon-to-be Co-Head. Secondly, I am going to lay out something, very, very clear. If this takes place again, if there is any suggestion of a coup against me, I will take action. Since this whole occurrence was entangled in a web of lies, secrets, and plots of revenge, it took me a while to make a decision, thus, Blue2 beat me to making a decision. I am also ruling that no longer will the CPAC Representative have power over the Co-Heads/Head of site, and that, when I become CPAC Head and step down from CPASC, that is the position I will fill, CPAC Representative. Nothing more powerful, nothing less powerful. I am not a dictator, and will not become the Godfather after leaving this site as Head.

I am now calling on Drust to release the ommited part of her conversation with Splashy, and explain why that line was edited in. The Watergate Tapes have been released, at least, mine have. I am also calling on Splashy to release, if he has documented pictures of, his conversation and plotting with Cas to overthrow me.

Because of this, a meeting will be held for myself, Splashy, Drust and Bluesockwa2, at 5:00 PM EST this Friday. The location of the meeting will be disclosed in Private Chat with all of you once you are all on. I hope this will sort out all that has happened in The Watergate Scandal.

<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>

And now, one final announcement before I go.

I am considering resigning from the position of Club Penguin Army Story Central Head of Site.

I would like the entire staff to comment with their opinions on whether or not I should resign. In the scandal that took place today, I was attempted to be overthrown by my very own Secondary Head, and still threatened to be after I removed The Godfather Clause from CPASC. I am not truly sure where my duty lies in this site. I will leave that decision up to my staff.

As of 20:37 EST, I officially back Bluesockwa2′s decision to promote Splashy to CPA Story Central Co-Head of Site along with myself; he has been re-admined, on the contingency that the rules and ammendmants I implemented to Order 17, promoting Drust to Secondary Head; officially adressing the outcome of any following coup d’etat attempts; fully laying out the responsibilities and power of the CPAC Representative, and officially disclosing where my power lies after I leave this site as Head, which may either be in the near future or about a year from now, depending on what my staff decides, remain in effect.

~Sιя.Bℓυєsσ¢кωa.тнє.1sт, CPA Story Central Co-Head of Site

Splashy also made a post, which can be read here.  He and I then met again, and agreed that we could work out our differences; that the main issue here resulted between CPAC and CPASC. The problem was the Blue2 and Funks were never meant to impose bills, just to advise. But this was far from the end. Blue2 then felt the need to impose another bill.

A Bill Regarding CPASC

May 17, 2012  By ●||»Sιя.Bℓυєsσ¢кωa.тнє.2η∂«||● 11 Comments

This is to resolve the current power struggle going on at CPASC. The terms in this bill can be, but are not required to apply to all partner sites of CPAC, both present and future. For now, they only pertain to CPASC.

CPA Central Bill Regarding the Situation at CPASC

1. Club Penguin Army Story Central, acting as an affiliated site to CPA Central, is hereby required to conform to all terms and conditions imposed by the Acting CPAC Representatives. They have the final say in such decisions, and refusal to comply to them will result in further punishment to the site.

2. As such, Bluesockwa1 is to return power to the CPAC Representatives, and give them the ability to control the branch site.

3. The Representatives are ONLY to act in the case of extreme turmoil that affects the site’s overall functioning. Otherwise, they are not to meddle in the site’s affairs.

4. CPASC must comply fully with the terms stated in Executive Order #17.

*The terms of this bill are not to be modified, edited, removed, or otherwise changed without the consent of the authors (Kingfunks4 and Sir Bluesockwa2).

Since CPASC is a branch of our site, we have full control over them and will use that control if we see the need.

The site must accept the terms of this bill, or there will be severe consequences.

Splashy, Drust, Becca and I met one final time, and decided that enough was enough. Many of you have seen this post only briefly; it was posted by yours truly on CPAC and then drafted by Blue2.

Operation: Checkmate

July 18, 2012  By Gσ∂ƒaтнєя.Bℓυєsσ¢кωa.тнє.1sт 5 Comments (Edit)

Blue1: I warn you now, you have gone too far meddling in something that is not your place.

Blue2: You need to either take this post to CPASC, or delete it. It has no place on this site.

Hello CPAC.

Recently, as an issue coined the Watergate Scandal arose, CPASC was thrown into turmoil. It involved two men, one very spotlighted, one pulling strings in my eyes, and myself. Only those three people. The issue involving those three men has been since resolved for the most part, information about it can be read here, here, and here.

However, there is a more predominant power struggle going on. The CPAC Representatives, more specifically, Blue2 and Funks.

As you can see, the first post, written by Blue2, places in effect a few rules. Here is where things get complicated. In the originally forming of CPASC, the CPAC Representatives were meant to give suggestions, not to give orders.

As Blue2 refused to accept this and there where larger problems at the time, I decided to back Blue2 with his decision to promoted Splashy to Co-Head alongside myself, on the terms that he would allow my amendments to be made. These amendments included promoting Drust to Secondary Head, addressing any forthcoming coup d’etat attempts, and, most importantly, defining the role of the CPAC Representative.

It is defined here, quoted from my CPASC Post, “The Watergate Scandal”:

I am also ruling that no longer will the CPAC Representative have power over the Co-Heads/Head of site, and that, when I become CPAC Head and step down from CPASC, that is the position I will fill, CPAC Representative.

It was a two-way deal. I would abide by Blue2′s rules, if he accepted my amendments. It makes perfect sense. The CPAC Representatives should not have power over the CPASC Heads.

Blue2 went on to make a post regarding CPASC today, introducing a separate bill, different from Order 17. By now, you have probably realized this infringes on our agreement that I will comply if he complies.

CPA Central Bill Regarding the Situation at CPASC

1. Club Penguin Army Story Central, acting as an affiliated site to CPA Central, is hereby required to conform to all terms and conditions imposed by the Acting CPAC Representatives. Since CPASC is a branch of our site, we have full control over them and will use that control if we see the need.

The site must accept the terms of this bill, or there will be severe consequences.

As such, I decided to meet with Splashy, my Co-Head, and Drust, my Secondary Head, to see what they thought of the issue. They confirmed and agreed with I already thought should be done, and that this is completely wrong, infringing on both the agreement of The Watergate Scandal and the original terms put into place during the forming on CPASC.

And at the end of the day, this is politics. Pure politics. And the solution is very simple.

As of 17:27 EST, Club Penguin Army Story Central is no longer a branch, partner, or affiliated in any other way with Club Penguin Army Central. The position of CPAC Representative is now void, and the bills set into place by Order 17 and the one written today are also void, as CPAC, specifically Blue2 and Funks, now retain no control over CPASC.

Splashy, Drust, and myself found this would be the best way to settle things professionally and continue to bring our readers with the best quality stories in all armies, while still retaining the site government that has helped to efficiently run this site during its first few months as a start-up. And so, what else is there for me to say but…..

Checkmate.

After it was drafted it lead to the the impossible. I resigned from CP Army Central.

Resigning

May 18, 2012 By Gσ∂ƒaтнєя.Bℓυєsσ¢кωa.тнє.1sт Leave a Comment (Edit)

Woton: Guys, this is a frickin stories site. Resolve this, please. Blue1, we really want you here.

Kingfunks4: You could have just left CPASC as a CPAC branch because it has the CPAC name in it and it doesn’t really have to be broken away. This was only a one day suspension.

Blue2: Your post was not deleted, simply drafted. And you know you only had a one day suspension, right…?

I believe this is the end.

I thought this day was coming years and years in the future, but it appears the recent events are simply enough to push me to leave this site. I will not tolerate having my very own site taken over, and then, when trying to end the argument peacefully by breaking away from CPAC, the post deleted and myself contributored. So, I guess this is goodbye, CPAC. If any of you here want me to stay, comment. Maybe this’ll help a certain two realize a few things. I hope Blue2 takes pleasure in knowing I am resigning because of him. Unless anyone wants me back, this is my last post on Club Penguin Army Central. I truly did not want things to end this way, but never, ever did I expect this. And so, unless driven to return to the site, I am officially resigning from Club Penguin Army Central. To all of the friends I’ve made here, thank you, good luck. To all my enemies, go die in a hole.

~Sιя_Bℓυєsσ¢кωa_тнє 1sт, Former CPA Central Secondary Head

Ω

All of these issues were eventually settled, but a lot of lessons can be learned from this. CPA Central isn’t all fun and games. There are many, many, behind the scenes issues that make this site what it is. Don’t expect that people are where they are because of what you’ve seen. There is always more to the story. If your world falls apart, don’t omit your own accord.

NOTE: This was in no way meant to offend Cas, Blue2, Splashy, or Drust, as all of them are now good friends of mine. It’s simply that history is history.

    • I called it “CP Armies’ Media Giant”, which it is.

  7. I think the biggest problem is without having been a part of it, its hard to really understand.

    • True.

  9. How could there be a scandal with the story writing section of CPAC? -.-

    • Why is this such a difficult concept…..

No matter what a site does, there are usually political issues. End of discussion.
