Hello CPAC,
Today we are opening the Reporter and Philosopher Applications for you to be a new staff member at CPAC. There are four spots open for reporter and two for philosopher. To see who you will be replacing if you get the job and to find the application click ‘Read More’:
Reporters
A reporter is one of the most important parts of CPAC. Here are the people who have left or been fired recently:
- Jamesalfy (Fired)
- Ajman (Retired)
- Momo941 (Fired)
- Becca (Fired)
You are required to post once or twice a week and it must be up to a good standard (400 words is our minimum). You should report on the following things if you become a reporter:
- Battles [Top Ten]
- Practise Battles [Top Ten]
- New Leaders [Top Five]
- New Generations [Famous Armies]
- Rising Armies [Medium]
- Any Important or Shocking News.
As a reporter you generally report on any news that has broken out into the CP Army community. Since CPAC have entered a new system recently, all reporters will be made contributors. Myself, blue2 or blue1 must approve your post before it is posted. If it is far bellow the quality needed it will be rejected. We will make small changes to a post were needed. If you need any more information click HERE. Here are the applications for the four open reporter spots:

Philosophers
A philosopher is an interesting add-on to the CPAC staff list. Here are the people who have left or been fired recently:

Hello, and today I shall talk to you about “Tactics”
Tactics have changed a lot since the Army Nation began in 2007.
I talked a little with Iceyfeet1234, leader of the legendary army “Ice Warriors” He says “New army leaders these days. They don’t know how to lead an army. We used to actually throw snowballs as tactics, and we would always be thinking up on new phrases. These new people don’t know ANYTHING.”
Icey may be sounding slightly harsh here, but It’s true. Tactics have evolved so much, for better and for worst.

Do you see how It’s all changed? I certainly have. I think it would be to big a jump to go back to the old days and use proper tactics, and we couldn’t simply do that..

A topic that can be widely questioned is, how are noobs benefitting the world of CP Warfare?
Well, to most people, noobs seem like cheats since they are not actually in armies and are most likely rogues. Well, if you have rogues or noobs in your army who have just been recruited prior to a battle, then it can improve your sizes by a substantial margin.
But, if a noob or a rogue has just been recruited, then it can let down your tactics by a lot! You might have 50 penguins in a battle, but 45 of them could be rogues or noobs, meaning that they will not do any tactics or contribute to the battle. So as people say that noobs and rogues are cheating, they actually affect the outcome of the battle in the tactics department, lowering your overall score.

They have been dead for almost a month now and there site hasnt changed.There site( http://antiacpalliance.wordpress.com/ ) , has just dropped dead it was 28+ a day now it droped to zero in a matter of days.
There ‘rebellions’ in ACP’s different battle against NACHOs and LIGHT TROOPS.They helped LT in a lot of there battles against ACP..but now the owners of the anti-ACP have lost interest days before the nachos deside a truce with ACP and leaving LT to fight there own war. They no longer rage on ACP chat. Thats one out of two of the probloms in ACP at the moment they still have to deal with there fight over Shababoom.

4. ACP vs. LT Invasion of Alpine (what a post will really look like).
The LT scheduled an invasion of Alpine. It started on Ice Box as many non-members could log on.
Both teams logged on fifteen minutes before battle. Without any communication, both teams knew to go to Ice Box.
The battle began at the dock, with Light Troops with clearly bigger size, but many ACP troops were locked out.

Finally, LT tries (italics) to claim, then scurries to the Snow Forts. The ACP, this time out numbers LT, with still, many locked out.
LT again, tries to claim then they run to the Ice berg.
After one hour of battling, they claim to win, then log off.

The DCP vs DW war has started in a bang. Both armies invading and defending servers from each other. DW even helped Elites invade summit because DCP and Shadow Troops were defending it. Another thing was that there were post of DCP and DW leaders raging on each other. Most of the things that DCP write about DW is the hacking bill and SaW. DCP stated that they will ignore any invasions from DW because of Saw and the hacking bill.
How do you think this war will end? Do you think the posts about each other army will stop? Is it right for DCP to ignore invasions by DW because of the hacking bill and SaW?

whenever the ice warriors are fighting the noobs are always messing up our sizes and all that and it ruins our concentration, we rarely use snowballs at all… i don’t know why but when i first got youtube mail from iceyfeet1234 i thought he was talking about snowball fighting but when i joined it was more than that and the tactics are amazing I’m glad to be an ice warrior and I’m willing to be a reporter in the cpac and i’ll do anything to have this job!
and i should be picked for the job because I’m a really nice guy and if i was picked i would also do my very best! and i wouldn’t let you down! but theres one thing i want to learn…. how do you type up a post and stick it to the site?

Are CP armies falling?
Here is a very hard question. What is happening to CP armies? People think many things about it. Maybe this is a start to the end of cp warefare? What if we never regain 70+ sizes? Those are the questions but there really is no answer currently. Yes everyone has to say CP armies are falling every year or even month. This might lead to something bigger than CP armies but who knows? Questions, questions, questions. That’s all it is. Things that make us think. We are falling currently. There has been decrease in CP armies since 2011 by almost 200 armies! But what is really happening? We don’t know yet but I think it’s safe to say were falling at the moment.

4.Please write ONE OR TWO PARAGRAPHS about a recent war (ACP vs Nachos, ST vs AR ect): As a direct result of the stubbornness emmited by Shadow Troops (ST), and Nachos desire for another war, A war between ST and Nachos is now underway! The reason why this is such a shock for everyone is despite the recent war between acp, the size differene is immense!, for example ST averages 10-15 but Nachos average 30.
Due to this being such a shocker, no one knows what this fresh war between medium and large could turn out to be.

Dojos and Armies
When Club Penguin Armies were first created, the dojo was nearly always used for battles! If you look back, you will see. Here’s an example from 2008 http://i1204.photobucket.com/albums/bb404/lollypoppa10/armies.jpg.
Since Disney took over, armies have stopped using the dojo. There are many reasons this might have happened.
When card jitsu came around, everyone started going to the dojo making it harder for large armies to battle because some troops could not get in. This also made lots of lag which eventually made troops get disconnected. Another reason card jitsu is a problem for club penguin armies is that it fills half the dojo! This creates problems when doing tactics. So what do you think, should the dojo be used again by armies again or should we just move on? Leave a comment! ~Lollypoppa10

Noobs.
For me I can’t help but notice that aren’t many Noobs around and abouts. Noobs are the ‘wheels’ of the armies, Often driving the higher ranks faster, and occasionally up the wall.
The decline of Noobs has been causing problems for armies, as Noobs often give the armies size (Strength) but however they slow down armies, mainly because they have ‘other ideas’ to the leader. Although the lack of Noobs has help many smaller armies, they have fought on only half strength and made it through.

Welcome Readers!
In current news, many wars are raging on. One I think is very under publicized is the Nachos vs Shadow Troops. Two powerful armies with legendary names are having a go at it! Let’s take a look into the war as we know it.

This war has been raging on for half a week when you estimate the time. But the clash between the Nachos and ST us more than just server invading. The ST is made up of many Nachos, and vice versa. Therefore this is also a battle of loyalty. Lets stay on the topic of loyalty for a second.
Loyalty (In my mind, an experienced CP veteran’s mind): When a soldier is loyal to this army only or very limited armies. This troop is willing to go against ANYONE for almost any reason to help this army strive. It’s his number one priority. Whether ranking has anything to do with it, they feel obligated and responsible to help his/her army strive!
That is what I honestly thing this war is a question of. I don’t want to rant at you forever, so let’s get onto the battle summaries so far.

The Nachos and ST have clashed on for three whole battles and a fourth is scheduled very soon. All three of these have been Nacho victories, whether defense or invasion. The Nachos have been able to get major sizes in 2 out of the three; with all three comes great tactics. This army is committed to win the war they waged. *insert Defense of Christmas Pic Here*

Because I want to inform the army community once more and have learned form my mistakes. I realize the troubles with posting and am willing to accept it. I will TRY not to be biased to any army as best as I can, one thing I caught backlash for with my last go at CPAC. Perhaps a Philosopher position would be better because I’m very opinionated but I like to put MY opinion on events such as wars. So it’s hard for me to choose what I should work as. The ACP vs. LT war has been going on for a while now. Neither army is giving in. This war is motivating soldiers from both armies and encouraging them to fight harder and win. Both armies are not admitting defeat although it was kind of clear who won some of the battles. The site and chat activity has been increased in both armies.

Ok time for CPAN’s first top ten. Today it’s the large top ten, then tomorrow the medium, then the small. Ok here it is.

1. ACP have not backed down even though Nachos have asked for peace. They want to complete a cleansing of servers and at the battle of cloudy last week were getting sizes of 30+
2. Nachos are doing well in the army world coming only a percent behind ACP for technically surrendering to them in the war. If they had kept fighting ACP and Nachos would have surely tied in the top ten.
3. Light Troops have been very active lately and have had lots of events. They played a sideline role in the Nachos vs ACP war but 2 days ago thrashed ACP and captured their server winterland but ACP have had a lot more battles lately and so have Nachos.
4. Ice Warriors have been very active lately beating Ninjas and tying with Nachos. Plus at their tactic session they achieved great sizes. However the other armies have had better sizes and events so IW fall into 4th place.
5. Global Defenders have been going to some events and winning but there were only about 3 which I think deserves a 5th spot for their sizes at them.
6. Shadow Troops are doing well this past week even beating Army Republic in their defense of Parka in which Army Republic surrendered in less than two minutes. They have been achieving sizes of 15+ but the only reason they are 6th is because they beat Army Republic.
7. Army Republic have had great sizes at events such as the defense of toboggan but are in 7th because of their loss to ST last week on Parka. It seems if AR try to invade Parka again there will be war.
8. Doritos are doing well and having an event today so time will tell if they rise or fall. However at the battle of mountain last week not many doritos turned up even though it was their time to shine.
9. Dark Warriors didn’t have many events last week so I have put them as number 9 this week and they had no pics :-( hopefully they can start getting more events and pics or they may not last very long in the top ten large armies and might drop to medium.
10. Sun troops had a recruiting session lately with great sizes and a pic if they can keep this up they may have a shot at overtaking Dark Warriors and maybe even Doritos.
Well that’s the large top ten tomorrow we’ll be looking at the medium top ten.

4. Write a paragraph: Today on beanie Nachos battled against Shadow Troops after Hurricane declared war on them last week. So far Nachos have been dominating each battle with no losses. Today Nachos minimum soldier count at the beginning was 9 but then they started to grow and maxed at least 20+ whereas Shadow Troops had a minimum of 2 troops and a maximum of 4.
Today however Shadow Troops kept fighting and not backing down. Nachos were in shock how the four Shadow Troops were holding out so they tried to frenzy them. But ST didn’t flinch. but the one thing that got them was the saying WHY SO SMALL!!! They looked at their sizes and at Nachos sizes and surrendered so now Nachos have won these servers: Aurora, Christmas, Parka and now Beanie. People are now wondering whether ST will be serverless and dead by the end of this war. This was Pontongpasir reporting on the Nachos against ST war.

Recently, the Nachos declared war on the Shadow Troops. Nacho Leader Hurricanex1 said, “Armies are ment to go to war.” He had no real reason behind his declaration besides this, with which I fully agree. From the beginning, the Shadow Troops did not express very much confidence that the war would go their way, seeing as the Shadow Troops were a smaller army than the Nachos and allies were not allowed.
The Nachos and the Shadow Troops fought many battles. They all had a recurring theme of Nacho victory. The Nachos size simply overpowered that of the Shadow Troops, and in the end, the Nachos came out victorious. The war ended on February 14th, 2012 with a conclusive Nacho victory.

This your Weatherboy1 Reporting on a new rising story. A new possible hacking claim by Lt(Light troops,Now 10th in the CPAC top ten) Claim that DCP (Doritos of Cp,Now 6th in the CPAC top ten) (who in the past has had a awful lot of hacking reports, No offense). Lt claims to have been hacked.But I do have sufficient proof that it wasn’t. I took interviews with Dcp’s Wwebestfan and Lt’s Kennybot. We’ll start with the story.
On the day BA (Black alliance) disbanded DCP joined the ACP side. They declared war on several of the BA’s armies. Armies such as BW(Blizzard Warriors Now 9th in the CPAC top ten.),ST (Sky troops,Now 5th in the CPAC top ten),And Swat (Now 7th in the top ten). The main focus on the conflict was LT v.s. DCP. Back in March DCP attacked LT. Lt called them “their worst enemy”. Anyway now to the interviews!

(Header) The war so far: Lt V.S. ACP.
Hello CPAC Readers,
Today I’m reporting on the LT V.S. ACP War. So far from what both sides claim it seems although that Both sides are winning. The truth is that Neither are winning this war and it has became A solid Stalemate.
The war began with An attack from LT. The war escalated to including UMA, DCP, RPF , and Nachos. Which have all dropped out expect for LT. The war has been fought for over 2 weeks now. Both sides are trying to reclaim and or cleanse servers that their enemies claim to have won. The only thing that is preventing this conflict from being a complete stalemate is the ACP’s UK forces which have invaded the LT land by Uk Times. LT then responds by invading at American Times. LT has been turning up sizes that even rivals ACP’s. It is likely that the two armies will contend for 1st place for weeks to come.
5: Well First off Unlike most of my fellow applicants I have experience in the News area. 2nd I have quite decent grammar and great Spelling. 3rd I do have some ideas. Such as If I would to write about a battle I would to go to a battle I would independently take photos/ Video of the battle. Rather then relying on Army websites for photos. Most reports just get pictures from the Army website. 4: Most of all (in my opinion) I’m pretty creative. So those are my reasons.

Most of the battles have been late at night, when most U.S.A people were asleep. The ACP decided to raid at night because that is when LTisn’t really that good. Also LT has been using TG and bots. Bots are TOTALLY unacceptable to use. Whenever LT uses bot scripts, ACP wins because bots are like cheating. It is unknown when this war will end. A war that happened a while ago was the dark warriors against CPPA (Club penguin pirate army). The war started out with Dark warriors against a smaller army (Forest warriors) but forest warriors got so mad,They merged into Club penguin pirate army just so they could get Bigger sizes and defeat dark warriors. But that actually never happened. Club penguin pirate army went to steal 2 of their servers, then they defended it. Then they went to take their whole NATION, but the invasions were canceled. Now, dark warriors is in war with DCP (Doritos of club penguin). Doritos were going to invade them, but wwebestfan (the leader of doritos) said that dark warriors were not a “real” army and they never showed up to the event. That it my post, Bye! ~XInfinityX

Today I will be talking to you about the recent war between the teamed up Pirates and Light Troops v.s the powerful Acp. The Lt is a army that gets 30+ and Pirates 15+ and Acp usually get 45+. Also just to let you know I was in the Pirate Army ,but retired at the rank of 3ic. As you might know the Lt and the Pirates of cp have teamed up. The Pirates were not involved at the beginning it was only the Acp and Lt. The Pirates came later and are just helping the Light Troops since they are allies. The events will be very late for american penguins so I think we will see the Uk and European Acp.

4. Well. Acp vs nachos was a war that we havent seen for a while. It started at frist with the Taco and LT war. Then Umas allience to crush ACP. But Uma and DCP dropped out. After a while it was only ACP VS LT. Then about 5 days into the war nachos attacked and raided acp servers. Acp responded by declaring war. Were where LT when this happend. Well Ex- leader Billy mays unoffically merged tacos with Nachos. The battle war became long and hard. Acp would win some. Nachos would win some. After about 2 weeks Nachos allied with ST. ST fought like 2or 3 battles with nachos and LT.Then at the beging of febuary Nachos decided to cancell the war and drop out with ST. So now Acp focused on LT.
Although ST and nachos were not finished. ST declared war on AR.
The war lasted for a week and ST and AR fought to win. In the middel of the war Ar, cpc and Dcp formed an allience to fight ST. But they didnt know in a few days the war would end. After that was over ST and Nachos declared war. Nachos bacically won most to all the battles. It only lasted 4 days and that was it.

I was apprenticed to Coff. i am a Mod for AR. I fought in many wars. I was in a dead army called water warriors I was 5ic. I was in the awesomes fo cp and was 4ic. I was in cpstf and was in 4ic. UMA and Pirates
The 2-Day War
The battle between the UMA and the Pirates was short, but a very proving war. The Underground Mafias Army(UMA) successfully invaded 3 servers and were unfortunatley declined the honor of owning Sherbert. The servers UMA did take with back home were Bunny Hill, Slushy, and Permafrost.
The sides in this war were very uneven. This could be easily explained due to the high amount of UK soldiers in the Pirates and the flooding amount of USA/Canada soldiers in the UMA. It could easily be said that UMA was averaging 10 soldiers overall and that their maximum size was 17. Unfortunatley, I was unable to find any picture from the Pirates, however it appears the Pirates maxed 16 and averaged 8-10.

I have served in armies non-stop since March 2009, and I have been a devoted reader of CPAC for about a year or so now. I have led two major armies, and have been increasingly active over the years. It’s been my goal to become a reporter for CPAC for awhile now, but I remain sure this is definitley my first Report Application. For my application I would like to report on the war between: DW and DCP. Overview/Before War:
Dark Warriors a newly rising army but an army that had been there for a while,Had SaW rejoin. SaW recruited lots of his troops off tracker chats and made sure that he treated these cp army newcomers very nicely while he stayed in the army. On DCP’s side they had been a low top.10 army and we’re staying around 10-12 troops on cp after a massive rise when they had just restarted. They were lead by wwebestfan and Bam at the time. Then, DCP made a huge mistake.
War Begins:
According to Dark Warriors, DCP was saying mean and hurtful things about them so they decided to declare war. DCP was I don’t know if it was real or not but either afraid or thought DW wasn’t a legitimate army because of the Anti-Hacking Bill. This would be an argument because SaW the DW is known as a hacker and had problems with hacking before and during the bill, making DCP feel like DW was not a legitament army. To this day, because of this feeling DCP has been ignoring all Dark Warriors’ invasions. DW are a legal army, so in my eyes DW should own DCP nation. This was not a very good move by DCP and DW is currently winning the war as of this moment. The next event these two armies have is DW helping TG defend Snow Drift from an invading DCP.

The Top Ten
The Top Ten,is very known on Cp army News Sites,that is known more of a “The” than an “A”.But,How does it works?What is it?How Does it affects CP Armies?The Top Ten has many questions,but I will try to wrap up as much as I can in 2 paragraphs.So,lets get started.
A Top Ten is a way to show the biggest army,depending on the type of army that the News Site is more focused in.(Example:CPAC works on the biggest,Smac on medium and small,Etc…)
To make the Top Ten,the makers keep track of the armies that have potential,and see their sizes in events,tactics….This sistem is changing slowly,but the newest change by far is the Skloop Formula.
However,we cant please everyone.Most armies will “defend”their armies(Mostly Noobs)using opinions(or in non-noobs,pictures that determine a fact.),trying to make the makers change their opinion and “modify”the Top Ten.This isnt sucessful.In the other hand,some people”aprove”the Top Ten,since their army is in there.Most of them are owners,but I cant blame them,since all owners want their army to be the best of the best,I know the feeling.The Top Ten was made more for increasing rivalship(in the good way)and armies work harder to get that coveted spot.

Dont think im a noob. When i was in cp armies. The gators of cp and roman fire warriors where one of the best armies along with acp, dcp, nachos, iw, Tg, Gt and nw.

UMA and the Pirates
“The 2-Day War”
As many of you already may know, the Underground Mafias Army(UMA) has been invading the Pirates. On a recent post, UMA called these invasions a “2 day war”. The Pirates and UMA have both agreed that the sizes seemed somewhat unfair with UMA invading at American times while the majority of the Pirates are United Kingdom soldiers.
3 out of 4 of UMA’s invasions were successful with a maximum troop count of 17 and an average of 12. The Pirates had a maximum of 15 and an average troop count of 10. The Pirates had one no-show and one event with only three soldiers. The other two were however, impressive with sizes.

Clubpenguin Army Central, biased organization, or fair and fun place for armies? Here is what I think. I think that CPAC is not biased, but I think it comes to a point where some army leaders thing so. Having Wwe and Mch both in two armies that always on goes to the top 10 somehow. I think that it is FAIR, but at the same time I can see the utter confusion between some armies. One in mind the Light Troops as they have a banner on their website. But I honestly think that if CPAC was biased I would think that they would kick team gold right out of the top 10 for that. I honestly think that ACP is an impressive army but at the same time I think that the only reason its popular is not because of the leader ship. Its because of the name. So that really explains why everyone wants to join and therefore making it the number 1 on the top 10 list. But I think that Light Troops will one day beat ACP and become the number one proving that this isn’t a biased organization.

5. Today, I am going to talk about tactics. Are tactics really important to
cp armies? Keep reading and find out!
In my opinion, tactics are important. Without them you could only win battles over size. Yes, size is important, too. But tactics are slightly more important. Tactics are to see if people in the army are really listening, because if they don’t do them. You have a image that there scrolling through there Facebook notifications and not paying any attention to the battle.
Tactics also get people’s attentions (e.g judges, roughs) If you do more of them, your likely to attract the judges attention and get more roughs. Tactics are also important because when your charging at another army, it just looks like your playing with them. But when you do a joke bomb that is more fierce and you look like your eager to win the battle instead of joke around.
So yes, tactics ARE important. Armies that don’t use tactics should start, because trust me, you would do a whole lot better if you did!

ACP vs. Nachos war-why did it have to end?
As everyone knows that the ACP and Nachos were at it again, taking server after server after server all day long as they battle and battle and battle. But ask your self this: why did this awesome war have to cease? In my opinion the ACP Nachos wars are some of the best wars in todays army community. These battles should go down as “The rivalry of the year” At the Christmas Chaose tourny Nachos won and ACP suprisingly came in 3rd, behined Nachos and IW. After this many people started to believe that the nachos would take over 2012… But as you may have saw the last top 10 the nachos were placed 3rd, 2 steps lower than the week before when they were tied with the Army of Club Penguin for 1st. Many Nachos decided that this year of 2012 would be the “Year of the Nacho”. But after this

Ok so I kinda got off topic but with the war between Nachos and ACP bieng over what will happen? Do you think that because the ACP joined one side of an alliance while Nachos join the other??? Does the past war have anything to do with it? Honestly, I think it does because in the nachos post they said ” because we have some un-finished buissnes with ACP right now” What do YOU think about this? NACHOS VS ACP WAR
Hello,
It’s me, Sidie9, and I am here to talk to you about the Nachos vs ACP war that has recently occurred. *read more*
Nachos and ACP, once were great allies, even once in their own alliance, but now they are against each other. They offended each other, taunting each other, and more. As you know, this war never ended with a bang, it ended with the fact that both armies made peace. If they didn’t, then what would’ve happened?
QUESTION 1: where would the war have went?
If you had looked more closely, it is quite obvious Nachos had the upper hand. They had hundreds of allies, such as Shadow Troops, Light troops, Ice warriors etc. but ACP only had the Doritos, who dropped out of the war. ACP fell, and fell, and fell… But never threw in the towel. If ACP had never given up, it would have led to a Club Penguin World war.
QUESTION 2: Is it possible that the ACP Would Have won?
Truthfully, I don’t think anyone would know the answer to this. It would have went into a world war, no one would have won. But if anyone may know the answer to this comment bellow.
