Let’s face it: CPAC’s quality is quickly going south. We’re also greatly in need of new ideas. Here are a few ideas for your consideration, but we’d like to know what you want to see as well.
In order to live up more to our name, CPA Central, here are several suggestions to help serve as a center for armies. The site would be helpful for recruits, and also serve as a sort of guide to get one started in warfare, while still being a news site.
CPA Records Page
This page would house various records set in armies. Armies already keep records (most troops online, most tournaments won, etc.), so why not have a place were we could keep track of them, and of who holds the record.
CPA Rules
I myself have seen the difficulties of rules in armies. Often, battles are fought with one side using a rule that the other isn’t. Controversy ensues. Another situation, an army fights by a rule that has since been eliminated, such as the 2 server rule (I think that was eliminated). This page would be a list of rules for war and battle in armies. It would be very helpful for new recruits to learn battling rules, and would help armies to stop controversy over battle rules. NOTE: The rules would be chosen by the viewers, not CPAC.

That’s actually not half bad. Especially since there are LOTS of a battles that are disputed. I mean, one representative from each army in the Top 10 and one CPAC representative would work.

Opinions on the first 2 ideas: The 1st idea would be cool, then we could finally have a reliable source to compare armies. 2nd idea would be definatley needed since some armies claim victories using their rules
My idea: A method in which we could use by say taking 5 pictures from one armies leader, and 5 from the other. Then CPAC take 5 of their own. Then judges in CPAC vote on which ones are most reliable, then determine the winner from those.

To be completely honest as a viewer of CPAC I really don’t care about the quality of the post as long as it doesn’t look like a 5 year old wrote it’s fine, I really don’t care if there’s spelling errors. On battle posts I know I myself and several other people don’t even read it all, we just wanna know who won, and maybe I’ll read the first paragraph. Yes I want to know who CPAC thinks won, it doesn’t mean it’s the official ruling of who won, it’s just stating their opinion on who won. People in real life in newspapers state their opinions of controversial things; sports or not. All I’m saying is I’m tired of hearing all this bs about how people need to “step up to quality” when I’ve seen mistakes in the secondary heads and head of sites posts but I dont care. Just hire people who are EAGER to do this even if they can’t write that well. This is a kids game for crying out loud, people are taking his way too seirsouly. And also stop talking about how armies are dying, we are alive right now, you don’t hear the world talking about how the apocalypse is going to come, all things come to an end eventually. And don’t talk about trying to return to the “Golden Age”. It’s like saying America is trying to return The time right after world war 2, we have modernized all we should deal wih it, not cry like babies. Speaking of babies, armies need to stop being so cocky in battles and admit defeat sometimes. If an army A has 50 and army B has 35 but does better tactics than army A, army A still wins. Saying army B would win just because the made pretty tactics doesn’t mean they should win unless the make some amazing tactic. It’d like saying in real life if an army makes cool formations they win. Tactics should ONLY decide close battls

I wouldn’t really want CPAC to do both large and small armies. I just go to SMAC for that.
One thing we are not doing: covering small and medium armies, so please do not suggest this. Also, we are planning to partner with SMAC for that coverage.
I want to see that someone updates the leader profiles/nation for Ninjas. It be annoyingggg.
All I want to see is Galaxie fired and a server update….
My thoughts exactly as soon as I read the title. I also think we should reactivate the CPUN Supreme Court to settle disputes like battles and such.
If passed I’d like to be part of it.

Suggestions:
1.Don’t make rules. Some of the beauties of CP Armies is that there are no rules.
2. Don’t hire noobs.
3. Make posts.
4. Keep the server page updated! GD’s servers haven’t even been included.
5. Don’t neglect GD. I’ve never seen a post about GD since Woton left.
What do you mean no rules? 24 hour rule, no bots rule, etc. All are rules. Also, I don’t believe GD has been in the Top Ten that much since the summer, so that’s be why there were no posts.

I don’t see a SINGLE post about GD besides the Top Ten. I don’t even see GD’s servers listed on the server page. There’s obviously been some neglect going on.

Opinions on the first 2 ideas: Ine was okay and two was okay
My idea: Well an army should win based on what army leaves the server first. Like if a deffending army leaves the server during a battle before the invading. Then the invading army wins. And also winner should not be decided by size. Size should be the 3rd factor of who wins. Rules should be winner is determined of the retreating factor of one army retreat and the other amry follows the other army can win., who logs off first, and then size. Most armies like LT just make their own rules and say if they have 5 more then they win. That shouldnt bbe allowed.

3. Get rid of the advertisements permanently or keep one at a maximum.
4. Try to post more on battle reports and lower ranked armies in the top ten(whatever number it is that week).
5. Keep tournaments rarer. They’ll get boring if kept constant.

My idea: try and find a way to make sure all battles end with a winner.
We need rules for battles and such.

3: First off (Prepare for a long list) I honestly that think CPAC should have a Graphic shop. You could collect experienced Graphic designers and create a very good shop. 2nd. I always had the idea of having a “TV station”. When I say this I mean posting videos on A CPAC Youtube channel. You can hire recorders to record battles, raids , and also post videos about CPAC Updates. 3: You should have tests before you officially hire an author. Next I think you should take a viewer survey. No no not like the utterly failed CPAC census. No I mean like a massive poll post. Like I say. The Viewer makes a news site a news site. And the Staff is its creator. Those are my ideas
