This weeks top ten armies was… well, hard. With the Nachos on a dip and loads of other armies no-where near the top 3, it was hard to call the top 5. All Events Up To May 30th are counted towards the top ten rankings.

Top Ten Armies: 12/06/11

1. Army Of Clubpenguin [+0]: Like every other army, they are not doing as well as they are used to. They have been getting 30 – 40 at events, which for most armies would be incredible. They reappointed flipper as leader after a debate whether he should be leader of the ACP. They are also having problems with the election of their senate, and fired Buckleybeans for various reasons. However, the ACP could do with more result post’s to show off their size a little more.
2. Ice Warriors [+7]: Well, here they are again. The Ice Warriors, who were 9th in the previous top ten, pulled of a few decent results to pull themselves up the top ten. They currently have 75 on their active count. I agree they were slightly under-ranked in the last top ten, but I do know they are rising and are looking to catch up with the ACP. They beat the UMA in a recent war which made UMA’s size look very small. They also beat the NW in a PB.
3. Nachos [-2]: Although they are falling in size, they aren’t falling enough to drop lower than this. No-one else can fit into this spot so the Nachos cannot go much lower. They have been averaging around 20 at events, instead of their usual 30 – 40. Most people claim that the ACP and Nachos won the “world war” by miles. Some also said that the OABYA and the BA weren’t good enough to beat them. Their most recent unscheduled event was the main reason they are still 3rd.
4. Golden Troops [-1]: The GT had a massive fall with leadership problems and troubles with the troops. However, they maxed 25 against the TG, and maxed 20 in a recent Unscheduled Event. If they didn’t have their problems with their leadership they would certainly be in the top 3. They aimed high for the TG practise battle and they got what they wanted. The leadership issue was resolved and they are now rising steadily.
5. Night Warriors [-1]: The NW haven’t risen in size. In fact they probably fell in size. However they have got more active meaning they are now similar to the GT’s size and number of events. If they want to catch up with the GT they really need to get slightly bigger. They have been averaging around 15 at events, which is near the GT’s size. The NW are still on the rise, so it is hard to tell if they will make it to their former glory of the top 3. They lost to the IW in a PB with around 5 people , meaning their ranking went down.
6. Clubpenguin Sun Troops [+0]: They had good results in their invasion of the free servers. They maxed 15 – 20, which easily surpasses the UMA. They did have good size, but they do need to have more events to show they are active. I could only find one event result post from the past 2 weeks, which disappointed me. The CPST appointed Boofgall as Leader, and Zakdude as 3ic. It looks as if the new leader has given the CPST more moral to help them rise into the top 5 armies. The CPST, who made it into the top ten last month, have done well to stay in the top ten without falling back out.
7. Underground Mafias Army [+1]: Although it says the UMA have gone up since the last top ten; they haven’t gained any size. They haven’t gained size, they have lost size. They beat the DCP, who were a no-show, with a low turn-out of around 10. All their result post’s show them with around 10 – 15. That shouldn’t be enough to be in the top ten, but the UMA are hanging onto their spot. If they do continue with this size, I’m sure they will be out of the top ten very soon. The UMA are also invading snow shoe and are having a PB with the FGR.
8. Pink Ice [NEW]: Im sure most of you have heard about the Pink Ice army being on the rise. Well, they had one event maxing 20 and averaging 10 at all their other events. Shaboomboom made a post about the PI’s history, and how much they are rising (That can be viewed HERE). They have been getting low numbers at some events, maxing 7. However they have been maxing 15 – 20 at other events making it hard to rank them with a true rank of their size. The Pink Ice army is the first army I’ve seen and can remember in the top ten that is pink.
9. Green Team [+1]: The CPGT have been getting loads of full chats and have been maxing 10 on CP. They have the most post’s on their site than any other army and have been keeping active since making it into the top ten. Their size hasn’t been too impressive. In fact, if they had this size one year ago they would be struggling to get into the medium top ten. The CPGT have been falling recently, but somehow are still rising in the top ten rankings.
10. Light Troops [-3]: Since the last top ten they haven’t done terribly well. They beat the YT army by far, but only maxed 7 – 10 at the events against them. They haven’t had amazing results in the past fortnight, getting 5 – 10 at most of their events. If the LT and CPGT keep these results up they could be over-taken by the WW and DCP, and they will fall right out of the top ten into the top 5 medium. Desipite their bad results, they have an active count of 40. The LT are currently at war with the Navy army.
I started this top ten on Saturday and finished it today. I had to swap a few of the armies places due to the results of Saturday’s IW/NW PB and the GT/TG PB. I don’t just view the site’s first page post’s, I view all the post’s between May 30th – June 11th. Any events after or before that time are not counted towards this top ten.

10-15 is quite the max for most CP armies these days.
Only reason is because of ACP.
If you split ACP into seperate groups and made them go to different armies thus dividing them equally, Small armies would get about 10 max, Medium About 15-10 Max, and Large/Major/Top Ten armies about 20-30 Max.
